Charter Mark
Charter Mark is the Government’s national standard for excellence in customer service. A registered certification mark, Charter Mark is owned by the Cabinet Office. The Charter Mark Team, part of the Prime Minister’s Office for Public Services Reform determines the policy and administration of the scheme.
The Building Control Team were receiving their third Charter Mark Award in 2005, subsequent to their first award in 1999.
The staff take pride in providing the highest level of service to all their customer groupings. We believe that all customers have a fundamental right to demand and expect quality. Out Mission Statement reflects this philosophy.
