The Registration Office of the Council is responsible for the registration of Civil Partnerships in Down District.
You will be able to form a civil partnership if you and your partner are:
- Of the same sex
- Over 16 (with consent if under 18)
- Not already married or in a civil partnership
- Not closely related to each other
- Understand the nature of civil partnership
