Cosmetic Body Treatments
The Environmental Health Section of Down District Council is responsible for the licensing and registration of the following “cosmetic treatments” that are provided by businesses within the District:
- Ear Piercing
- Electrolysis
- Acupuncture
- Tattooing and Cosmetic Body Piercing
- Hairdressing
Premises are inspected routinely to check that they meet the relevant regulatory criteria in order to protect public health and the health and safety of employees.
