Derelict Premises
The Council has powers, under the Pollution Control and Local Government Order, to take action in respect of ruinous or dilapidated premises which are seriously detrimental to the amenities of the neighbourhood. This can range from requiring the owner to secure open windows and doors to demolition and clearing of the site in extreme cases
