Indiscriminate Dumping
The Environmental Health Department will investigate complaints of indiscriminate dumping and littering offences and can serve notice on the person that has committed the offence requiring them to clear up the deposit. Where that person cannot be identified the occupier of the land can be asked to carry out the work.
Control of larger scale, unlicensed waste disposal is the responsibility of the Waste Management Unit of the Department of The Environment.
