Property Certificates


    The Council’s Administration Department co-ordinates the production of Property Certificates for those selling dwellings, land and various other premises within the Down District Council area.

    On receipt of the appropriate application form, map of the property and requisite fee of £60, the Administration Department will process the form by seeking replies from the Council’s Building Control, Environmental Health, Recreation and Environmental Services.

    The replies are then typed up and issued to the vendor's solicitor.

    Approximately 450 Property Certificates are processed by the Administration Department each quarter.
