New Down Leisure Centre

Down District Council held a public consultation throughout the month of April 2012 to gauge public opinion on proposed plans for the new look leisure centre in Downpatrick. Draft proposals were displayed in the main foyer of the Down Leisure Centre giving the public the opportunity to view and submit their views/opinions via questionnaire.

The questionnaire/feedback form included tickbox and written comment questions, and a general additional comments section. Online feedback forms were also available via survey monkey. The majority of feedback forms received were filled out at the Centre; a moderate number were returned by post thereafter, and a smaller number returned by email. The feedback deadline was extended as a result of requests by local residents
